Iridescent Hex Reflection necklace lasercut from acrylic plexiglass. Also available in shiny black acrylic plexiglass. The design is based on master origami artist (and my dear friend) Christine Edison's triangle box crease pattern.

Wait--what's a crease pattern? A crease pattern or CP is what you get when you unfold an origami model. The lines you see on the original flat piece of paper show all the creases needed to form the final model. The models on the left are folded from the creases shown on the CPs on the right. CPs are useful for designing and remembering how to fold a particular model. Some origami enthusiasts enjoy the challenge of folding from CPs without any steps, diagrams, or tutorials. I find CPs aethetically alluring and fascinating.
