I’m strongly influenced by origami, which sparked my interest in the world of art and design as a child. I’ve done books, museum exhibitions, and invited lectures all over the world. When I’m not folding and designing I enjoy doing crosswords, animal rescue (60 fosters so far!), and plant-based cooking.
Creative/artistic or logical/analytical? I’m both!
I’m a UI/UX Visual Product Designer with a professional background in origami, illustration, and fashion design. I'm a first generation American who grew up in Texas before moving to New York, where I designed shoes for companies like Coach and Nordstrom.
I believe that an effective designer should be able to design anything. Whether it’s art, fashion, or branding, and I put my wide-ranging background, skills, and methodologies into practice in my current role as a freelance visual designer.
